TTulpe® Indoor B-6 2.0 P30 Eco – Propane Gas Water Heater 6 L/min with Battery Ignition, ErP/NOx

The TTulpe Indoor B-6 2.0 P30 Eco is a compact propane gas water heater for instantaneous hot water production. This P30 version is designed for propane G31 at 30 mbar and provides a nominal water flow of 6 litres per minute.

Electronic ignition is powered by batteries, so the appliance does not require a 230 V mains connection. Separate controls for gas supply and water flow allow the hot water temperature to be adjusted to suit the application.

The Eco version combines compact dimensions with on-demand hot water production and an ErP/NOx-oriented design.

Instant hot water without a storage tank

The Indoor B-6 heats water only when a hot water tap is opened. There is therefore no stored volume of water that needs to be kept continuously hot.

With a nominal flow rate of 6 litres per minute, this model is particularly suitable for individual hot water applications such as a washbasin, kitchen sink or low-flow shower, as well as installations in holiday homes, chalets, tiny houses and workshops.

The actual hot water flow and outlet temperature depend on the incoming water temperature, water pressure, flow rate and selected gas setting.

Electronic battery ignition

When a hot water tap is opened, the ignition starts automatically. No continuously burning pilot flame is required.

Because the ignition is battery powered, there is no need for a mains socket next to the appliance.

Separate gas and water controls

The front of the appliance has separate controls for gas flow and water flow.

The gas control adjusts the flame and therefore the heating output. The water control changes the water flow through the appliance.

Increasing the gas supply increases the heating output. Reducing the water flow generally results in a higher outlet temperature, while increasing the flow produces cooler water.

The low minimum operating pressure makes this gas water heater suitable for installations where the available water pressure is limited, provided that sufficient water flow is maintained.

Open combustion system

The TTulpe Indoor B-6 2.0 is a gas water heater with an open, room-air-dependent combustion system.

The air required for combustion is taken from the room in which the appliance is installed. The installation area must therefore have sufficient permanent ventilation and an adequate supply of fresh air.

The appliance is not intended for installation in bathrooms.

Flue gas safety protection

The Indoor B-6 is equipped with flue gas safety monitoring.

If the flue becomes blocked or combustion gases cannot be discharged correctly, the gas supply is interrupted for safety.

After the appliance has cooled sufficiently, the safety system can reset.

Manual hot water temperature adjustment

The hot water temperature is controlled by adjusting the relationship between gas output and water flow.

With an incoming cold water temperature of approximately 15 °C, the outlet temperature can vary from around 23 °C to approximately 65 °C depending on the settings.

The actual temperature is influenced by the incoming water temperature, water pressure, flow rate and gas output.

Installation

The TTulpe Indoor B-6 2.0 P30 Eco must be connected to a suitable 30 mbar propane supply as well as the cold and hot water pipework.

A correctly sized and functioning flue system is also required. The installation area must have adequate permanent ventilation.

Gas, water and flue connections must be installed in accordance with the applicable local installation regulations by a suitably qualified professional.
