Eldom Favourite 50 L – Horizontal Electric Water Heater 2 kW, Controls on the Right

The Eldom Favourite WHF05039FR is a horizontal electric storage water heater in the 50 litre class, designed for installations where vertical wall space is limited. The controls are positioned on the right-hand side, making this version particularly suitable where the appliance needs to remain easily accessible from the right.

With a net water capacity of 45 litres, a heating power of 2000 W and straightforward mechanical temperature control, this model is well suited to bathrooms, apartments, holiday homes and other locations where horizontal installation is preferred.

Horizontal mounting with right-side controls

The water heater is intended exclusively for horizontal wall mounting.

The two-colour LED indicator clearly shows the operating status:

Frost protection

The Favourite includes a frost protection setting for periods when the water heater is not used intensively.

Minimum temperature in frost protection mode: above 5°C.

This function is particularly useful in holiday homes or properties that remain unoccupied for certain periods.

Internal tank protection

The steel internal tank is protected by a durable zirconium-enriched enamel coating that reduces direct contact between the water and the steel.

Additional corrosion protection is provided by two magnesium anodes.

Periodic inspection of the anodes is recommended to help maintain the service life of the water heater.

HFO thermal insulation

The water heater is insulated with HFO closed-cell polyurethane foam.

Insulation thickness: more than 33 mm.

This insulation helps reduce heat loss and keeps the stored water warm for longer.

Pressurised operation

The Eldom Favourite 50 is a pressurised electric storage water heater and can be connected to a standard pressurised mains water supply.

Rated pressure: 0.8 MPa.

Water connections: ½ inch.

A combined 3-way safety valve is supplied with the appliance. It provides overpressure protection and helps prevent reverse water flow.

A small amount of water may drip from the safety valve during heating. This is normal operation.

The integrated safety features are designed to protect the appliance against conditions such as overheating and excessive pressure.
